AzaGuard Botanical Insecticide/Nematicide provides powerful broad spectrum insect control for over 300 insect species through multiple modes of action proven to prevent molting between the larval, pupal and nymphal phases. It is also an effective insect-repellent, effectively reducing plant damage from insects, and controls parasitic plant nematodes. It acts as a repellent against horse flies, stable flies, blow flies, black flies and house flies, providing an effective solution for swine barns and beef and poultry operations.
An emulsifiable concentrate containing active ingredient Azadirachtin 3% by weight, AzaGuard Botanical Insecticide/Nematicide is an integral tool in any Integrated Pest Management program for sustainable crop production and disease control. It is recommended for use with shrubs, turf grass, trees, ornamentals, nurseries, greenhouses, interiorscapes, mushroom houses, and field crops.
AzaGuard can be easily and effectively applied as a foliar spray or drench using any standard pesticide application methods such as ultra-low volume, low-volume, high-volume, fogging, electrostatic, and chemigation, and is compatible with most common fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers.
AzaGuard is a powerful broad spectrum insecticide that controls over 300 different insect species including:
AzaGuard uses multiple modes of action to control insects in the larval, pupal, and nymphal stages by effectively hindering the metabolism of ecdysone. Insects treated with AzaGuard typically perish between the larval to pupal, nymph to nymph, larval to larval molts, or during adult eclosion. AzaGuard also effectively repels insects, reducing insect plant damage, and provides proven control of parasitic plant nematodes such as Burrowing, Golden, Dagger, and Root Knot nematodes.
AzaGuard has undergone extensive laboratory testing with a wide variety of food, ornamental, and forestry crops, and no phytotoxicity has been observed at labelled rates. AzaGuard is compatible with most common fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers, but should not used together with highly alkaline products such as triphenyltin hydroxide, Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur, or Rayplex iron.
AzaGuard can be used to control nematodes and insects through either foliar spray or drench to soil or soil-less media, such as mushroom houses and greenhouses, using any common pesticide application methods such as high-volume, ultra-low volume, low-volume, electrostatic, chemigation, and fogging.

When treating outdoor non-food crops, spray 8 ounces of AzaGuard per acre every 5-7 days. When treating indoor plants, use AzaGuard at a rate of 10 ounces per 100 gallons of water every 50,000 square feet.
