Pre-Milking Cows:
Ensure that the cow udder and teats to be treated are clean, washing them as necessary with clean water to remove dirt and other contaminants. Fill the teat dip cup with undiluted PeraDerm. Before milking, dip the cow teats as far as possible into the teat dip cup filled with PeraDerm. After 15-30 seconds, wipe the teats dry using a single-service towel to avoid milk contamination. Proceed with milking.
Post-Milking Cows:
Immediately after milking, fill the teat dip cup with undiluted PeraDerm. Submerge the entire teat in PeraDerm solution. Do not wipe the teats dry but rather allow them to air dry. Be sure to always use fresh, undiluted PeraDerm. If the PeraDerm solution in the teat dip cup ever becomes visibly dirty, discard the contents and refill with fresh undiluted PeraDerm. Never reuse PeraDerm or return used PeraDerm to the original container. Once cows have been treated with PeraDerm, do not turn them out in freezing temperatures unless the PeraDerm is completely dry. Store PeraDerm in temperatures above freezing. If PeraDerm becomes frozen, mix well before use. Note that PeraDerm is not designed to cure or help heal chapped or irritated teats.
