A: No. When algae is already present, use GreenClean Granular Algaecide to eradicate the algae and bring the lake or pond back into balance.
Q: How can the number of gallons in a pond be calculated?
A: The number of gallons in a pond can be calculated by measuring length (L), width (W), and average depth (D) in feet (ft). Then calculate number of gallons using one of the following formulae.
For Square/Rectangular ponds:
Number of Gallons = L(ft) x W(ft) x D(ft) x 7.5
For Circular/Elliptical ponds:
Number of Gallons = L(ft) x W(ft) x D(ft) x 5.9
